Maldon is a small town in central Victoria in south-eastern Australia. Behind the town is Mt Tarrangower. In reality, it is a large forested hill which rises to 560 meters above sea level. The surrounding countryside is a mixture of forest reserve and small farms. The population of the town and region is around two thousand five hundred. Whenever possible, I travel in regional Australia and also spend time in the capital cities of Melbourne and Sydney and with rare visits to Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide.
My writing has tended to be about things pertaining to rural Australia. I have produced a book of Australian short stories and over recent years I’ve been working on a very large novel about two young men growing up in Australia between 1900 and 1936. Occasionally I interrupt this writing to type up and publish an erotic novel and this helps pay the bills.
